Originally an east coast country girl, I transplanted from Pennsylvania to Colorado in 2010. Although I’ve never been a fan of snow or cold (as I sit under a warm, fuzzy blanket right now) it didn’t take me long to fall in love with all that Colorado has to offer. 300+ days of sunshine a year is not something I take for granted!
I met my husband, Mike, in 2013 and began the journey as step-mom to our now teenager, Miles. He is the gift in my life I never knew I wanted! We have two sweet & utterly naughty fur children, Colt & Ruger. If you have dogs, you may need to remind me to give my conversation with you as much as attention as I want to give your pet :)
When not working with my wonderful clients, you will likely find me enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend, having a beer at one of our favorite local breweries, taking a ride on Mike’s Indian Scout, or watching reruns of Schitt’s Creek. I tried to get some version of “ew David” for my license plate, but every combo I could think of was taken!
I also love making my own earrings, and own more Starbucks cups than I’d like to admit... there’s always a new sparkly one I have my eye on. I’m not much of a reader, but I can digest several hours a day of podcasts & audio books since I get plenty of driving time in - my current faves are about the Enneagram (I’m a 6) or real estate education & business practices.
What does it look like to work with me?
In 2017 when I started my career in real estate, I knew that I wanted to help first time home buyers feel confident through the process, so they didn’t feel lost and alone like I did when I bought my first home. It doesn’t have to be scary or complicated! I don’t want to just sell you a house, I want to educate you in the process so you can make the best decisions for your unique situation and needs, even if that means not buying right away.
I am an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and Home Finance Resource Certified Realtor. That’s fancy language to say I’ve done extra hours of training and have lots of experience working with buyers and helping them understand financing options. I don’t tell you that because random letters behind my title should impress you, but I do want to impress upon you how seriously I take my education and expertise in real estate. This extra training & experience gives me a deeper understanding of the needs and concerns of first time home buyers, allowing me to provide tailored guidance and support. You can be confident that I am a knowledgeable advocate working on your behalf to help you achieve your real estate goals.
Having an organized and prepared Realtor on your side is not just helpful, it’s necessary. I’ll be honest, I’m a bit of an obsessive planner (it’s the Enneagram 6 in me!). I am passionate about checklists, systems, and all things organization. Working with me, you’ll get a proven plan with clear systems and easy-to-follow steps, and you’ll always know exactly where you are in the process and what’s coming next. Organized doesn’t mean boring or rigid! It means smooth, enjoyable, less stressful, and a whole lot more fun. Working with a Realtor that you click with should feel comfortable and simple, like having a glass of wine with a friend.
Speaking of wine, that’s the first step in the process - an initial consultation where we’ll explore all the options for your specific situation and get a plan put into motion. I like to hear from my clients up to a year before they are ready to start looking.
